I remember telling my mother when I was a young boy that I wanted be a veterinarian, although I likely didn’t use the proper term. My first patient when I was a youngster was TA Cat, a raggedy, stuffed grey cat that I took everywhere. I even took in across Canada on Via.
I graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1989 and started at Baker Animal Clinic in May of that year. Over the years my most favorite part of this profession is the clients. I have seen their children grow up and get pets of their own and been fortunate enough to care for them as well. I have developed many friendships along the way.
Baker Animal Clinic is a family to me. I have been working with some of the staff for more than 20 years.
When I am not at the clinic, I can usually be found sailing in the 1000 island region in Kingston.
