Jacqui joined the Baker Animal Clinic in 2012 as a Client Care Specialist. Jacqui knew from the time she was 8 years old that she wanted to be a nurse for animals.
She graduated from St. Lawrence College in Kingston, with an Animal Care Technology diploma in 1983. Jacqui worked as a technician for almost a decade, but due to a back injury, had to shift to a different aspect within the clinic atmosphere. She has worked in general practice and in a Referral Clinic throughout her career.
Jacqui has always shared the pleasure of many pets in her life. All her fur family have been rescued from different situations that left them looking for someone to love them. Currently she has a wonderful, very large dog and a very fluffy cat to welcome her home every day.
When Jacqui is not working, she enjoys time in the great outdoors. She loves to go hiking, kayaking and spending time at the family cottage. She enjoys cooking, gardening and just hanging out with friends, family and pets.
