I joined the Baker Animal Clinic team as a Durham College student in May 2022, then full time after my graduation the following September. I have always felt I had a special bond with animals from a very young age, so a career where I could help animals just felt right for me.

I first attended school for media studies, but after my puppy became very sick, watching the teams at both our vet clinic and the emergency hospital care for her inspired me so much, that I applied for the Animal Care program almost immediately.

The area of veterinary medicine that currently interests me the most is patient care, as well as client education. I always want to be treating every single patient as if they were my own pet, and continuing to learn all I can about how to provide the best care and experience possible.

At home, you can find me spending every spare moment with my dogs, whether that is going on an adventure or just lounging on the couch, they are always by my side!
