As a child, I always said I wanted to work with animals. It took a few years, but eventually I made my way to working as an ACA after receiving the Highest-Ranking Graduate honour from Durham College's Animal Care program in 2018.
I find the stark difference in size of critters we treat here to be fascinating. From teacup Chihuahuas to Giant Great Danes, they all are so different and have such personalities! Cats are my personal favourite though.
It's a special treat when we get to see and treat cats! When not working, I love to spend my time doing crafty things and creating memories with my husband, son, and 2 cats.
